Jennifer Alonso-García is a tenured Professor of Actuarial Science at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and an IA|BE Qualified Actuary, with a PhD from the Université Catholique de Louvain. At the forefront of pension finance research, her work on decumulation, retirement income strategies and the design of sustainable pay-as-you-go and funded schemes is shaping how actuaries think about the future of pensions. -
BLANCHET Didier
Didier Blanchet is a former Director of Economic Studies at INSEE, France's national statistical institute, and a longtime member of key French pension advisory bodies including the Conseil d'orientation des retraites. An alumnus of the École Polytechnique and a research affiliate at the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, his long track record analysing retirement systems and reform makes him one of France's foremost voices on pension sustainability and adequacy. -
DEVOLDER Pierre
Pierre DEVOLDER is professor of mathematical finance and actuarial science at the Catholic University of Louvain (UCLouvain) and globally respected actuarial researcher and professor whose work on pension theory and reform puts Belgium’s retirement challenges into international context. He is partner and chairman of REACFIN. He has a PhD in mathematics from the University of Brussels (ULB). He is also actuary and academic member of the Belgian Institute of actuaries (IABE). He gives regular courses at the universities of Strasbourg, Rabat and Lyon. -
DONNELLY Catherine
Catherine Donnelly is a Professor in the Department of Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics at Heriot-Watt University and Director of the Risk Insight Lab, with a PhD from the University of Waterloo and degrees from Oxford and Cambridge. A UK-based actuarial academic with deep expertise in risk sharing and innovative retirement income design, her research on CDC schemes and longevity risk pooling helps actuaries bridge theory and pension practice. -
VAN BILSEN Servaas
Servaas van Bilsen is Associate Professor at the University of Amsterdam's Faculty of Economics and Business and a research fellow at Netspar. He is a leading Dutch pensions researcher and brings cutting-edge insights on intergenerational transfers and pension decumulation that are vital for modern pension design. -
VERHEYEN Nicole
Nicole Verheyen is Chair of the Institute of Actuaries in Belgium (IA|BE). With over two decades of past experience at EY as Audit Partner in Financial Services, followed by leading executive roles in insurance brokerage and actuarial consulting, she brings deep expertise across the insurance sector. She is currently CRO at MIRIS, a cyber insurance mutual, and holds a portfolio of mandates as Independent Director and Audit and Risk Committee Chair at various international insurance companies and a pension fund.
