Rudi Van Delm General Manager, joined the IA|BE Staff in 2025. He brings more than 35 years of experience as an executive, adviser and board member, with a strong track record in both Belgium and international markets (the United States, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom). His extensive actuarial background as IA|BE Qualified Actuary, together with his senior leadership experience and deep expertise in the governance of insurance companies, will help the IA|BE fulfil its ambitious vision of empowering an engaged IA|BE actuarial community. Rudi looks forward to support our volunteers, engage our members, and help our community thrive into the future.
Béa Coppens joined the IA|BE Staff in 2022 and is passionate about the entire administrative and organizational aspect of the Institute. With her experience through positions in different sectors, she is very excited to work with the team and contribute to the functioning of IA|BE.
Begum Coskun - Director of Education, joined the IA|BE Staff in 2025. She has a PhD in Education from Leiden University and operated over the last years in a specialist learning environment at the medical faculty of Amsterdam university. Begum accepted the challenge to further develop the Continuous Professional Development program at IA|BE, while building on the experience and achievements of Gerda throughout her tenure at the Institute.
Rob De Staelen - Director Communication and Member Engagement, joined the IA|BE Staff in 2020. He holds a PhD of Ghent University and is an actuarial consultant who is also involved in public affairs, policy and research. Rob focuses on the internal and external communication of the Institute, on increasing the engagement with our members and overlooks operations within the Institute.
