The Permanent Staff of the IA|BE takes care of the daily functioning of the Institute.

Béa Coppens joined the IA|BE Staff in 2022 and is passionate about the entire administrative and organizational aspect of the Institute. With her experience through positions in different sectors, she is very excited to work with the team and contribute to the functioning of IA|BE.

Frank Dausy - General Manager, joined the IA|BE Staff in 2018. He has a background in finance and makes it his priority to connect IA|BE and the actuarial profession as close as possible to its different stakeholders. He operates comfortably on a senior level, with a focus on positioning and strategy. 

Rob De Staelen - Director Communication and Member Engagement, joined the IA|BE Staff in 2020. He is an actuarial consultant who is also involved in public affairs, policy and research. Rob focuses on the internal and external communication of the Institute, on increasing the engagement with our members and overlooks operations within the Institute. 

Gerda Elsen - Director Training and Accreditation, a trained actuary, joined the IA|BE Staff some 20 years ago and contributed largely to the development and growth of the Institute. Gerda also teaches mathematics at a Belgian university. Through her actuarial and academic background, she is ideally placed to coordinate the IA|BE trainings initiatives and safeguard the interest of our members in many other fields.
