Fair Value, Fair Price: The FSMA on the Actuarial Function in Non-Life
Building on its session at the IA|BE Actuarial Day, the FSMA revisits value for money, this time from a supervisory perspective and with a focus on non-life insurance products. In this webinar, the FSMA takes a practical look at the role the actuarial function has to play in ensuring fair value for money. In this regard, it dives deeper into the relevant legal and regulatory framework, as well as some key elements of a sound pricing and reserving policy. Drawing on supervisory findings, the FSMA highlights some common pitfalls and how to avoid them.
This session is suitable for actuaries who are involved in designing and/or monitoring non-life insurance products. No prior knowledge is required.
