This session offers a practice-oriented introduction to the IORP II Directive and compares it with Solvency II, covering scope, valuation of liabilities, funding and capital requirements, governance and key functions, and information to members. Practical examples illustrate where the two regimes differ most and what this means for risk management and for insurers and pension funds active in occupational pensions.
