IA|BE Solvency II - BEGAAP Framework
This session introduces BEGAAP, the Belgian statutory accounting framework for insurance undertakings. Participants learn about its purpose, structure and main principles, including the valuation of assets, the approach to technical provisions and the prudence-based character of the framework. The session lays the foundation for the follow-up session, in which the interaction between BEGAAP and Solvency II is explored.
Target audience: Actuaries, finance and reporting professionals, risk managers and others familiar with Solvency II who want to build a solid understanding of BEGAAP.
Practical information: The session is held online and in English. The Microsoft Teams link will be shared two days before the session.
