Join us for a comprehensive training led by Prof. dr. Olivier Lopez, consisting of two online sessions of 2.5 hours each. The first session introduces cyber risk, covering the main threats and vulnerabilities and their implications for insurance, while providing insights into the fundamentals of pricing cyber risk and the related actuarial considerations, including key challenges around data, modelling, and assumptions. The second session focuses on systemic cyber risk, exploring how cyber events can impact portfolios and the wider market, as well as the interconnections between risks; it also addresses the use of actuarial and CAT models to assess and quantify potential losses, and discusses practical approaches to modelling, managing, and mitigating systemic exposures. Both sessions combine theory with practical examples and case studies, enabling participants to directly link cyber risk concepts to actuarial practice.
