Rieke became a member of our institute in 1992, after studying mathematics in Antwerp and actuarial sciences in Leuven. She was an active and dedicated member of our Actuarial Function Working Group, where she enjoyed sharing her knowledge. In addition to her great expertise and actuarial skills, she excelled in her friendliness and human qualities.

Our thoughts go out to her family and friends and to her colleagues, first at ERGO, later at KPMG, and to the organizations she advised throughout her career.

According to her wish, the Institute contributed to Let Us Change, a non-profit organization in support of homeless children in Ethiopia. More info on www.letuschange.be.
