BECKERS Marc
With over 36 years of experience, Marc advises insurers on complex capital-related projects, in particular, using reinsurance to de-risk insurance balance sheets through legacy transactions. Through MBeckers, he also works with insurers and MGAs to grow MGA-originated business, and with the ClaimsCarbon team to quantify the CO₂ emissions of claims handling. Since August 2026, Marc has also been appointed General Manager of the Institute of Actuaries in Belgium (IA|BE). -

Menno van Wijk is a consulting actuary in the Amsterdam office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 2016. He performs consultancy assignments on life, non-life, and disability insurance in the Benelux. -
VERHEYEN Nicole
Nicole Verheyen is Chair of the Institute of Actuaries in Belgium (IA|BE). With over two decades of past experience at EY as Audit Partner in Financial Services, followed by leading executive roles in insurance brokerage and actuarial consulting, she brings deep expertise across the insurance sector. She is currently CRO at MIRIS, a cyber insurance mutual, and holds a portfolio of mandates as Independent Director and Audit and Risk Committee Chair at various international insurance companies and a pension fund.
