The IA|BE Working Group Data Science & AI warmly invites you to an in-person event fully dedicated to AI Ethics and Fairness in the actuarial profession.
As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly embedded in actuarial models and decision-making, ethical considerations are no longer optional: they are essential. This event will explore responsibility, transparency, governance, bias, and professional standards in the age of AI.
We are honoured to welcome Stefan Duchateau as keynote speaker. He will give insights on the impact of AI on the stock market. He will discuss the application of current AI tools for the managing and trading of stocks and funds. These AI investment tools are put in a broader economic context, addressing geopolitical tensions, interest rate expectations, monetary policy, market valuations, and the key drivers of financial markets. He will also explore the real economic impact of AI, identify overhyped versus promising developments, and highlight how quality-driven stock selection plays a role in this evolving landscape.
