Event presentation 'Actuaires du Monde' : 30/04/2024 (17h - 19h30)
The Steering Committee of Actuaries Without Age (AWA) invites all members of IA|BE to participate in the presentation on 'Actuaires du Monde' on 30 April 2024 at 17h00.
Created in November 2020, Actuaires du Monde (AdM) (Actuaries of the World in English) is a non-profit organization registered in France that provides temporary and voluntary assistance to low- and intermediate-income countries in need of resources in the fields of actuarial and risk management to help their social and financial development.
AdM supports these missions in the general interest with the help of its volunteers around the world. Recipients of these services include, among others, public entities, governmental organizations, non-governmental organizations, associations, schools, universities and other stakeholders that lack these services and/or the financial resources to obtain such services.
AdM is created after the section’s dissolution on 31 December 2020 of the ‘Actuaries without Borders’ Section of the International Actuarial Association (‘IAA’) as per IAA Council vote on 18 November 2020 with an enhanced mission emphasizing social & financial development.
