Terms of reference
One of the key ambitions – as clearly described in the IA|BE Board Statement Vision 2022 - 2025 – is to position IA|BE as an independent expert towards external stakeholders and so to create more visibility for IA|BE in the public domain. To achieve this, the IA|BE Board decided to publish on a regular basis IA|BE Expert Papers that will offer an independent view on developments in society from an actuarial angle.
The first subject the Board decided to cover is the inflation that currently heavily impacts our daily life, but also the insurance and pension market.
This task force that will discuss the impact of inflation and coordinate the drafting of our very first IA|BE Expert Paper.
It is the intention the task force would submit a final draft for approval to the Board by mid-September. The outcome of this first IA|BE Expert Paper will already be presented at a DECAVI conference about inflation on 29 September, and we aim for a broader distribution of this Expert Paper towards our stakeholders.
