    Political Risks

    Credendo is a European credit insurance group that is present all over the continent and active in all segments of trade credit and political risk insurance, providing a range of products that cover risks worldwide.

    During her presentation, Pascaline della Faille will explain how Credendo is assessing political risk.

    Then, Pascaline will focus on current and emerging political risks ranging from the geopolitical situation to the impact of climate change as well as the high risk of debt distress in the most vulnerable countries.

    Pascaline della Faille joined Credendo, the fourth largest credit insurance group in Europe, in 2009.

    As Country and Sector Risk Manager, Pascaline is responsible for monitoring various emerging countries and managing the team of country and sector risk analysts.

    Before joining Credendo, Pascaline spent three years as a macroeconomic analyst at BNP Paribas Fortis Belgium.  She started her career as a research and teaching fellow at the University of Namur (Belgium). She contributed to the second edition of “Country and Political Risk” (edited by Sam Wilkin). She is co-author of various publications notably on investment risk in Latin America and on the consequences of international sanctions on credit insurance. Her research on the evolution of poverty in Nicaragua has been prized by the Belgian Development Cooperation.”
